Our client, in higher education is seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Application Developer to support the design, development, and optimization of our TeamDynamix platform. This role will focus on building custom forms, workflows, integrations, UI customization, data handling, and reports. The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise service management transitions and customer focused development techniques; and will also play a key role in contributing to shared development standards, mentoring junior developers, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review current platform design and execute a tactical approach to enhance coding standards, reusable components, and architectural patterns that support scalable development practices. 
  • Develop and maintain custom forms, workflows, and service catalog items in TeamDynamix. 
  • Build and manage integrations using TeamDynamix, iPaaS and RESTful APIs. 
  • Configure and optimize modules for ITSM, PPM, and ESM. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to platform performance and functionality. 
  • Document development processes, configurations, and user guides. 
  • Partner closely with project managers and business analysts to understand customer needs and translate them into scalable, user-friendly technical solutions. 
  • Provide technical insight during project planning and execution to ensure alignment customer goals and expectations and development sizing and effort. 
  • Stay current with TeamDynamix updates and best practices

Mentorship & Team Development Focus 

  • Serve as a technical mentor to junior and entry-level developers, providing guidance on best practices in coding, debugging, and platform usage. 
  • Lead code reviews and pair programming sessions to improve code quality. 
  • Assist management in identifying skill gaps within the team and provide recommendations to build proficiency on TeamDynamix development, integration techniques, and platform capabilities. 
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive development environment that encourages continuous learning and experimentation. 
  • Provide constructive feedback and coaching to help junior developers grow into more advanced roles. 

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications 

 

  • Experience with designing and implementing workflows within enterprise service management systems or customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to streamline operations and improve service delivery. 
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and JSON/XML. 
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Zapier, Azure Logic Apps). 
  • Familiarity with such as  TeamDynamix, TDNext, TDAdmin, iPaaS tools, or custom integration frameworks. 
  • Understanding ITIL processes and service management principles. 
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience working with project managers and delivering customer-facing solutions. 
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. 

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Prior hands-on experience developing within the TeamDynamix platform. 
  • Experience designing dynamic forms, approval workflows, and process automation using tools like PowerApps, Nintex, or custom-built solutions. 
  • Knowledge of SQL and data reporting tools. 
  • Experience with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies. 
  • Background in higher education or public sector IT environments.
