Our client, Virginia's largest institution of higher education, is in need of a System Account Administrator. The System Account Administrator position is a remote full time, 1-year contracted position.

Responsibilities

  • Managing access to all college and VCCS systems.
  • Responsibile for administering college faculty, staff and contractor system access following the policies, standards, and procedures implemented by the college and VCCS.
  • Assists user community with requesting system access and notifies/updates users as to their access status. Develops and documents procedures for all systems access.
  • Develops and documents procedures for all systems access.

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree with some Information Technology related College course work or combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience and/or knowledge of electronic door access.
  • Experience and/or knowledge managing IT Security and/or IT systems auditing.
  • Knowledge or experience working with PeopleSoft.
  • Knowledge of Security Awareness Training and/or the Knowbe4 system.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Exchange and/or Office 365.
  • Experience working with an issue tracking system.
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills. Ability to communicate well with customers, both technical and non-technical.
  • Deliver superior customer service. Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and write documentation.
  • Strong hardware/software computer skills.
