  • Overview

    The MPS Specialist is responsible for identifying, capturing and developing new Managed Print Services business as well as solutions with new accounts and within an existing client base. This role will provide financial and technical analysis, to present an executive level overview of the existing document management processes. Sell HP multifunctional devices (i.e. printers/desktop copiers) into enterprise and commercial accounts by establishing effective partnerships with potential customers and providing the best technology solution based on their needs.  We are looking to maintain a strong presence in the Northern, Virginia. 

    Responsibilities

    • Works closely with Sales Reps to uncover additional workflow optimization opportunities.
    • Applies a consultative approach to analyzing customer requirements, activity levels and related costs.
    • Completes 360 Assessments, validation meetings, Service Level Agreements, formal proposals and account reviews.
    • Maintains sustained sales activities; phone calls, appointments, assessments, proposals and database updates.
    • Develops complex proposals including detailed floor plans, documented activity levels (Excel), costs analyses (Excel) and proposed solutions (PowerPoint).
    • Meets assigned quota expectations.
    • Performs quarterly account reviews to ensure accurate assessment levels.
    • Serves as first line of contact with customers, responsible for creating/maintaining accurate paperwork on each sale

    Qualifications

    • Ability to influence, negotiate and gain commitment at all organizational levels.
    • Excellent communication (oral and written and presentation skills).
    • Relationship management skills with customers, vendors.
    • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement.
    • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability; willingness to take risks and try new approaches.
    • Proven relationship management skills with customers
    • BS/BA degree in business or other related field strongly preferred.
    • Previous business-to-business sales experience or internship preferred.
