  • Overview

    Our benefit administration client is in need of a contractual desktop support person

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver desktop solutions that are technically sound, resilient to failure, and operationally supportable.
    • Perform hardware and software moves/adds/changes for VRS end users.
    • Communicate and interact with other technical staff to analyze requirements and assist in drfining solution
    • Perform technical analysis and monitor systems to maintain a secure, highly available desktop infrastructure.
    • Validate, troubleshoot and remediate desktop infrastructure issues in a timely manner including designs, builds, platform implementations and software packages
    • Partner with other technology staff to identify opportunities to exploit a broad range of existing and planned technology tools to enable business improvement.
    • Perform vulnerability/malware remediation and antivirus management

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience in desktop systems implementation, including laptop/desktop systems installation, administration, and support/troubleshooting
    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in information systems, computer science or a closely related field and over 2 years’ experience.  Experience may substitute for education.   
    • The ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute tasks with minimal guidance.
