    A top mortgage services provider is seeking an individual with a solid work history in the mortgage or real estate industry, to join our team as an AWS Data Architect. The candidate will lead and guide the technical team. Data Management is moving to explore new technologies to better manage data and provide a platform for deep analytics to the organization. This position will typically work on latest AWS technologies and will work closely with other members of the Data Engineering team to ensure that their solutions work within the context of the enterprise as well as providing their expertise to the team


    • Lead and participate in the review and understanding of data requirements for data projects, application development and reporting projects.
    • Lead and perform data analysis activities including data profiling, creation of data dictionaries, data transformation rules and integration requirements
    • Experience with modern data architecture to handle both Structured and Unstructured Data
    • Design, build, and deploy database applications. Manage data architecture requirements
    • Design, develop, apply and support data standardization policies
    • Analyze enterprise and application logical and physical data models and associated business rules to insure standards and best practices are followed
    • Experience working with Emerging(ML and AI) and Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
    • Experience translating business requirements into Data Structure requirements and logical and physical model
      Demonstrated ability with enterprise application and database driven applications.
    • Advance technical knowledge and background in the areas of Data modeling, EDW, Data Mart, data management, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data integration (ETL) and Data Security.
    • Proven Experience in Dimensional Modeling (Star Schema, OLAP Cubes, and Bus Matrix Mapping)
    • Proven understanding in databases and analytics, including relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), Data warehousing, big data (Data Lake, Redshift, Hadoop,Hive, Spark), noSQL, and business analytics
    • Depth understanding in system development life cycle and successfully deployed reliable data systems and data quality management systems.
    • Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence others.

    Architect, design, and implement cloud-based solutions for AWS Cloud Platform

    • Lead and take part in cloud readiness assessments, workshops, roadmap, and application modernization discussions
    • Develop automated solutions to monitor and support our software development and release processes
    • Lead and develop AWS – Redshift, AWS – S3, AWS – ETL functions architecture and best practices
    • Work closely with network engineers to enforce firewall protocols
    • Research and implement AWS data security and protection features
    • Experience with ETL in maintaining data marts
    • Familiarity with Python for data manipulation and exposure to AWS
    • Design and code documentation
    • Tools and processes required for delivery, movement, and processing of raw data according to conditions outlined in project requirements documents



    • Advanced degree or a bachelor’s degree in scientific or analytic field and ten or more years of proven and relevant experience in the data architecture development environment.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, research and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
    • Must be able to provide clear, concise written responses that are recorded in the client’s invoice processing system.
    • Leadership skills and ability to organize and motivate others.
    • Prior lead experience preferred.



    Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and to work early, late or weekend hours as needed for successful job performance. Over time required as necessary.
