  • Overview

    The Epic Client System Administrator is a critical role involving the installation and administration of Epic client applications.

    Responsibilities

    The administrator is responsible for installing and managing the application deployment platforms that serve production reporting disaster recovery training and non-production environments. The administrator must have expertise with Microsoft Windows server administration Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop TCP/IP storage area networks load balancers and Active Directory. Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education: Bachelors Degree in the field of computer science/engineering or information systems preferred or at least 8 years of related experience.

     

    Experience: Working knowledge of PC, network and platform operating systems including; Windows Server, Active Directory, TCP/IP and various client Operating Systems (Windows, OSX, iOS, Android, etc.).

     

    Licensure/Certification: Microsoft Certification (MCITP Enterprise or Server or MCSE 2012 Server Infrastructure) strongly desired. Citrix Certified Associate strongly desired. Citrix Certified Professional strongly desired. VMware VCP strongly desired. Relevant Epic Certification(s) to be obtained. Completion required as defined in Epic Implementation Timeline. Existing Epic Certification(s) in relevant application preferred.
