Electronic Systems is actively recruiting a leader to manage a Commercial Sales team in Richmond, VA.  Our executive team empowers all employees to make the right decisions and holds them accountable to attainable goals to ensure growth throughout the company.


We are a vibrant consulting organization, high in entrepreneurial spirt and unsurpassed energy.   As the leader you will guide a team of highly trained sales representatives to execute on a plan to increase productivity while reducing operating expense for our customers in the greater Richmond area.


  • Meets or exceeds overall sales quota monthly, quarterly and annually.
  • Implements sales and marketing strategies.
  • Prepares action plans by individual and team to ensure the right activity required to meet sales goals.
  • Effectively manages a sales team of up to 10 account managers.
  • Conducts weekly one-on-one reviews with sales staff to ensure effective communication, to review sales activity and funnel, to continuously develop and build sales skills of account managers, and to ensure that account managers are focused on productive activity.
  • Works closely with Human Resources to recruit and hire qualified account managers. 
  • Trains and coaches sales staff through observation and documentation of performance, providing feedback and counseling.
  • Works in tandem with service management to ensure outstanding customer service.
  • Promotes cross selling activities.




  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years successful experience managing a sales team in a technology-related industry.
  • Proven team player.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to apply new technologies to existing business problems.
  • Has a solid understanding of office technology solutions, services, and products, their targeted customers and practical applications.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer and vendor locations throughout Richmond, VA market.
